2 cFrench fried onions, divided

1 Tbspavocado oil

1 lbthick sliced bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

1 mdyellow bell pepper, diced

1 mdred bell pepper, diced

1 mdpurple onion, chopped

2 1/2 Tbspsteak seasoning
-
2 tspgarlic powder
-
4 tspground black pepper
-
1 Tbspmargarine
-
1 cheavy cream
-
1 cancondensed cream of mushroom soup (10.5 ounce)

8 ozcream cheese, softened
-
2 cancut green beans, drained (15 ounce)

1 cshredded Colby Jack cheese
How To Make bacon medley green bean casserole

1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

2Coat a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray. Add 1 cup French fried onions.

3Heat olive oil in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add raw bacon pieces, diced yellow and red peppers, and chopped purple onion. Cook and saute for 8 minutes or until the bacon pieces are brown and crispy and the vegetables are tender.

4Remove from heat. Season with steak seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Set aside.

5Heat the margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add heavy cream, soup, and cream cheese. Stir well and bring it to a boil for 5 minutes until thickened.

6Add green beans and bacon medley; mix well for 5 minutes until blended. Remove from heat.

7Pour over a prepared baking dish and spread evenly with a rubber spatula.

8Sprinkle with shredded Colby Jack cheese and remaining French fried onions.

9Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Cool completely for 15 minutes.
