Ingredients For au gratin potato casserole

  • 32 oz
    frozen cubed hash brown potatoes
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp
    steak seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted margarine
  • 1 pt
    sour cream
  • 3/4 c
    half and half
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c
    crumbled bacon bits
  • 1 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make au gratin potato casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

    Add cubed hash brown potatoes, steak seasoning, garlic powder, and melted margarine; mix well.

    In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, half and half, cream cheese, and bacon bits; whisk well for 2 minutes until blended.

    Spread the sour cream mixture onto the potatoes; mix well.

    Sprinkle with shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top.
