Struck up a conversation with a woman in the doctor's office one day and we started talking Kugel recipes. She told me about this one. I went home and made it. LOL It is so good.

Ingredients

1
bag wide egg noodles
1 stick
butter, room temperature
1 pkg
cream cheese, room temperature
4
eggs
brown sugar
1
12 oz jar apricot preserves

How to Make Apricot Noodle Kugel

Step-by-Step

  • 1Boil noodles in salted water for 4 minutes
  • 2Mix noodles with the butter and cream cheese. Then add the eggs.
  • 3Place half the noodles in a 9 x 13 inch greased casserole dish.
  • 4Top the noodles with half jar of preserves and then sprinkle brown sugar over preserves (I'd say a couple handfulls.)
  • 5Top with the ramining noodles and preserves and again sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • 6Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
