Ingredients
- 16 ounces egg noodles, cooked
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 pound cottage cheese
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1 cup sliced, peeled apples (optional)
- 1/2 cup white raisins (optional)
How To Make amazing kugel

Step 1In a large bowl, toss cooked noodles with butter. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, cottage cheese and sour cream until light.

Step 2Add egg yolks and beat well. Pour over noodles in bowl. Add remaining ingredients, except egg whites; mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in. Can add cinnamon, apples, and raisins on top.

Step 3Pour into 9 X 13 inch greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes and nicely browned.
