Ingredients
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 - lemon, zest of
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
How To Make vietnamese lemon rice

Step 1Wash rice until water runs clear, then drain.

Step 2Mix rice, water, salt, and oil in a nonstick saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn heat down to very low, stir gently, cover tightly, and cook until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 3Add lemon zest and juice and mix lightly with chopsticks or a fork.

Step 4To serve: Serve steaming hot with any seafood, meat, or chicken dish.
