There are dozens upon dozens of Turkish pilaf recipes. This version is really easy to prepare, and the list of ingredients adds a special touch to this dish. It includes both almonds and pistachio nuts, prunes and apricots and warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. This pilaf is a great side dish to go with spicy meat dishes, but it's also good with vegetarian dishes as well.
