Ingredients
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced green pepper
- 1 1/2 stalks diced celery (approx)
- 2 tablespoons chili powder mix ( more or less to taste)
- 1 teaspoon crushed hot pepper flakes (more or less to your preference )
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 cups cooked white rice
- 1 can small can of tomato sauce
- 1/2 jar pace picante sauce .. 16oz jar ( medium .. mild for less hot)
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil of your choice
- - salt / pepper preferably at table
How To Make spicy spanish rice

Step 1In large frying pan ... add oil ...saute onion, green pepper, celery .. until almost brown .. add garlic powder and hot pepper flakes .. continue frying on medium heat until browned.

Step 2Add tomato sauce picante sauce to browned ingredients ... stir and cook on medium heat about 3 minutes .. until hot .

Step 3Add rice to fry pan .. stir until rice is completely incorporated with sauce mixture . Serve warm
