white rice (not instant)
1/2 medium
diced onion
2 clove
garlic (minced)
1 can(s)
chicken broth
1 can(s)
8 oz. tomato sauce
1 Tbsp
garlic salt
1 Tbsp
3 Tbsp
vegetable oil

How to Make Spanish Rice


  • 1In a large sauce pan, heat oil at med heat and add in rice and onion...stirring often. Once rice becomes lightly browned, add in minced garlic and stir.
  • 2Begin to add in remaing ingrediants one at a time while stiring in between. When liquid begins to boil, reduce heat cover with lid and let simmer for about 30 to 35 minutes.
  • 3Once rice is cooked, fluff with fork and serve! This recipe goes well with any of my Mexican Dishes!
