spanish rice the easy way
I needed an easy mexican rice side dish to go along with Kimi's Santa Fe Chicken Casserole. This is what I came up with using one of the new Philidelphia Cooking Creme's.

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound italian sausage
- 1/4 pound bacon, cut up
- 1/4 - sweet red pepper, chopped
- 1 stick celery, chopped
- 1 - green onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon house seasoning (paula deen recipe)
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
- 2 tablespoons philadelphia cooking creme-savory garlic
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 4 cups cooked rice (i prefer uncle ben's)
- PAULA DEEN'S HOUSE SEASONING
- 1 cup salt
- 1/4 cup ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup garlic powder
- - combine and store in airtight container~makes 1 1/2 cups.
How To Make spanish rice the easy way

Step 1Brown sausage, bacon, red pepper, celery and green onion.

Step 2Add seasonings, cooking creme & tomato sauce. Stir in cooked rice. Garnish with sour cream and sliced green onion.
