Ingredients

  • 4 cups rice, steamed and day old
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed and roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make sinangag (garlic flavored rice)

  • Step 1
    Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook until light brown stirring often.
  • Step 2
    Add rice and break up with a wooden spoon. Season with salt and stir to coat grains with oil. Cook until rice is heated thru.
  • Step 3
    Divide among four bowls and serve with a fried egg or Filipino sausage.
