simple arabic rice pilaf
This is everyday Arabic rice that is used to eat with stews and such. I grew up eating this with just simply plain yoghurt or chopped tomatoes over it.

Ingredients
- 2 cups white rice
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 - handfull broken vermicelli noodles
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 3/4 cups water or broth
How To Make simple arabic rice pilaf

Step 1Fry the vermicelli in butter on low until golden.

Step 2Add remaining ingredients.

Step 3Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. .

Step 4Cover & simmer for 30 minutes or until rice is tender & water is absorbed.
