This is a great side dish for any meal! Its a very creamy rice mixed with spinach and parmesan cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 3/4 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

How To Make simmered italian rice

  • Step 1
    Heat broth and italian seasoning in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil.
  • Step 2
    Stir rice and spinach in saucepan, and reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the cheese. Serve with additional cheese if desired.
