Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    uncooked long-grain rice
  • 1 tsp
    sesame seeds
  • 2 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped fresh parsley

How to Make Sesame-Ginger Rice

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt butter in a 3 1/2qt. saucepan over med-high heat. Stir in rice and saute 2 mins or until rice turns opaque. Stir in sesame seeds. Add chicken broth and next 3 ingredients and bring to a boil.
  2. Cover, reduce heat to low and cook 20-25 mins. or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
  3. Fluff with fork. Stir in 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley.
