Ingredients
- 3/4 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
- 1 can 14.5-oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 2 tablespoons pimento-stuffed olives, chopped
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- - dash of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup long-grain rice, uncooked
How To Make rice picadillo-style

Step 1Combine first 3 ingredients in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring until ground beef crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain well and return beef mixture to skillet.

Step 2Add diced tomatoes, water, raisins, olives, chili powder, cumin, and cinnamon and bring to a boil. Stir in rice and cover.

Step 3Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
