rice mushroom barbecue
I made this as a side dish when I lived in MD and had Mark come over for dinner. He really liked it. I may have to share the recipe again, because it has been YEARS since that dinner...too many to count.

Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups pkg precooked rice
- 1 cup cold water
- 3 ounces can sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
How To Make rice mushroom barbecue
-
Step 1Take off a 3 foot length of wide heavy duty foil, form into aa pouch. Add rice, UNDRAINED mushrooms, and all but butter. Stir carefully to mix. Dot top with butter. Fold edges of foil to seal pouch tightly. Place on grill over hot coals for 15-18 min. Before serving, open foil and blend.

Step 2I have also baked this foil pack in the oven at 350 degrees for about the same time (put it on a cookie sheet so you don't tear the foil on the oven racks).
