This is a dish that my mother made during the Christmas holidays. It is easily made in an electric skillet.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    bulk pork sausage
  • 1/4 tsp
    red pepper
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3 c
    cooked rice

How to Make Rice Dressing

Step-by-Step

  1. Saute vegetables in the canola oil until tender. Add the ground beef and sausage. Brown the meat and drain.
  2. Stir in prepared rice. Add the seasonings. Serve warm.
