I picked up and old Campbell Soup recipe book a few years ago. I was looking for a side dish one day and came across this one. I use spaghetti for the fine noodles and usually use chicken bouillon cube instead of the broth.

1/2 c
fine noodles, broken in pieces
2 Tbsp
butter or margarine
1 can(s)
(10 3/4 ounces) condensed chicken broth
1/3 c
1/2 c
raw regular rice

How to Make Pilaf


  • 1In saucepan, brown noodles in butter; stir often. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover; cook over low heat 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Stir occasionally.
