Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2/3 - 1 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
- 1/2 cup picante sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup rice (uncooked)
How To Make picante rice

Step 1Melt butter or heat oil. Saute onion until tender.

Step 2Add broth and picante sauce. Stir and bring to a boil.

Step 3Stir in rice and garlic powder.

Step 4Cover and simmer 20 - 25 minutes. Watch closely, as it is prone to scorching.
