This dish is delicious on it's own or as the perfect side dish to seafood or chicken. Not overly sweet, just PERFECT.

light brown sugar
jasmine rice (or basmati - i prefer jasmine)

How To Make
melt butter over medium heat in medium sized sauce pan
add brown sugar and salt until completely dissolved
turn heat to high and add rice, quickly stirring until coated
stir in water and coconut milk
when it boils,turn heat down to med. low and cover with a lid. simmer for 20 min.
remove from heat and let sit another 10 min. with lid on. DO NOT REMOVE LID!
after 10 min., remove lid and fluff with fork.
