1Saute onion and parsley in melted butter in a large skillet until tender. Add the rice, and saute 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the water; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
2Cook the peas according to the package directions; drain. Add peas and salt to the rice; stir well.
3Transfer the rice mixture to a serving dish; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
