sam's club par excellence yellow rice or saffron rice that equals two cups
4 c
1/2 c
orange juice
2 Tbsp
butter or margarine
1/2 c
chopped celery
1/2 c
chopped onion
1 c
dried diced mixed fruit
3 Tbsp
olive oil

How to Make Orange Saffron Rice


  • 1In a large pot with a lid, bring water and orange juice and butter to a boil and add rice. Cover and reduce heat to low for approx. 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
  • 2In a frying pan, saute celery and onion until clear but not brown. Add dried fruits and quickly saute to activate the flavors.
  • 3Add celery, onions, and fruit mixture to the cooked saffron rice.
