Mushroom Rice

The original recipe calls for a whole stick of butter but I cut it down to half and it didn't make a difference.

2 c
long grain rice, uncooked
1 can(s)
french onion soup
1 can(s)
beef consomme
1/2 stick
2 Tbsp
parsley flakes
4 oz
mushroom pieces


1Heat oven to 375. In a 2 quart covered casserole dish, mix all ingredients, top with pieces of butter.
2Cook 45 minutes - 1 hour. Test for doneness. If not done, sprinkle 1/2C water and microwave for 15-20 minutes.
