This dish is fast and so easy to make. You can add cut up cooked chicken if you want to make it a one dish meal. Maybe even throw in some peas for color. It's great the next day too.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. pkg
    very thin noodles
  • 7 oz. box
    minute rice
  • 4 oz. can(s)
    sliced mushrooms in liquid
  • 1 pkg
    onion soup mix
  • 1 can(s)
    chicken rice soup
  • 1 can(s)
    water
  • 1/2 stick
    butter

How to Make Mushroom Rice

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown the noodles in butter on medium heat just until golden.
  2. Add soups, and the can of mushrooms with the liquid. Bring to a boil, then turn off the heat.
  3. Add the Minute rice, cover and set for 10 minutes. That's it. Fluff with fork.
