This mango sweet rice is similar to mango sticky rice, but made with regular Asian rice. It is the classic South Asian dessert that you can make without the fancy sticky rice and complicated ingredients of traditional sticky rice.

  • 2 cups Asian rice, cooked
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 4 teaspoons coconut cream
  • 1 large fresh mango
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make mango sweet rice

  • Step 1
    Heat up your rice in a microwaveable bowl by microwaving for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add vanilla, sugar, honey, and salt to the rice and stir.
  • Step 3
    Peel your mango and slice it into wedges about 3/4 inch across.
  • Step 4
