- 15.5 oz. cans bush's seasoned black beans
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 4 pinches fresh or dried cilantro
- 2 teaspoons cooking oil
How To Make maddy's black beans and rice with cheese

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook the white rice, following package directions.

Step 2Lightly coat a small baking dish with the oil.

Step 3Spread the rice over the bottom of the baking dish evenly.

Step 4Spread the canned beans (do not drain) evenly over the rice.

Step 5Cover the beans evenly with the shredded cheddar cheese.

Step 6Bake until the cheese on top is melted. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh or dried cilantro.
