This is a flavorful rice I make as a side dish with any kind of meat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon grated, lemon peel

How To Make lemon rice

  • Step 1
    Combine rice, butter, garlic, lemon peel, pepper, and broth in 2 to 3 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil; stir once or twice,
  • Step 2
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Stir in parsley. Makes 6 servings.
