Ingredients

  • 1 c
    long grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 tsp
    butter
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 2 c
    chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp
    snipped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp
    grated, lemon peel

How to Make Lemon Rice

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine rice, butter, garlic, lemon peel, pepper, and broth in 2 to 3 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil; stir once or twice,
  2. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Stir in parsley. Makes 6 servings.
