Ingredients For kimchi fried rice

  • 1 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 1 tsp
    toasted sesame oil
  • 1 sm
    shallot minced
  • 1 c
    kimchi
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    rice vinegar
  • 1
    scallions diced
  • 2 c
    day old rice
  • 3 c
    shredded lettuce
  • 2 lg
    eggs beaten
  • 1/2 c
    cilantro chopped

How To Make kimchi fried rice

  • 1
    In a large wok or skillet. Place the oils and add the shallot. Saute one minute. Add the kimchi, brown sugar, scallions, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and rice.

    Stir fry until browned. Make a opening in center of pan and add the scrambled eggs. Stir and incorporate the eggs into the rice. Add the lettuce and cook until wilted.

    Garnish with cilantro
