japanese fried rice

I got this recipe from a lovely Japanese lady that I met years ago..

yield 4 - 6

Ingredients

  • 2 small - onions, chopped
  • 3 ribs - celery with tops chopped
  • 1 lb - bacon,
  • 4 cups white rice, cooked
  • - soy sauce
  • - accent

How To Make japanese fried rice

  • Step 1
    cut bacon into bite sized pieces and fry till about half done
  • Step 2
    when bacon is half done add the onions
  • Step 3
    when onion is almost done add the celery and cook till bacon is crisp and onion is opaque and celery is cooked but still a bit crisp
  • Step 4
    pour off most of the bacon grease and then add bacon,onion, celery mix to the cooked rice. stir together and add soy sauce to taste and sprinkle with Accent.
