jag
(1 RATING)
Jag is a rice and bean dish from the Cape Verde islands. Its pretty well known here in the New Bedford area of MA where there are a lot of Portugese/Cape Verdian people. My Mother-in-law showed me how to make it and my hubby says its as good as hers! Do me a favor, though, ladies. Don't add anything like corn or carrots to it. Tom (my Hubby) says people would do that when he was a kid and it would ruin it!!!
