  • 3 oz
    celery, chopped
  • 1 1/3 oz
    shallots, finely chopped
  • 3 oz
    brown rice, cooked
  • 2 Tbsp
    sunflower oil
  • 1.5 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 3/4 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 3 oz
    alfalfa sprouts
  • 1.5 oz
    cashews, chopped
  • 3 tsp
    cider vinegar

How to Make Italian Rice


  1. Saute celery and shallots with brown rice in a skillet with sunflower oil for 5 minutes.
  2. Add herbs, salt, and soy sauce.
  3. Transfer to bowl; add sprouts, cashews and cider vinegar.
  4. Mix well and serve at room temperature.
