I love rice. Any kind of rice. This recipe, with all of the Italian style seasonings, is just delicious. I like to serve this with a good roasted chicken,

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 2 tablespoons vegetable or canola oil
- 1-2 slice bacon, crumbled
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cups hot chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked peas
- 1-1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice (i use uncle ben's converted rice -- do not use minute rice)
- 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
How To Make italian rice

Step 1In a nonstick skillet, melt butter. Add oil and bacon. Brown onion in the mixture.

Step 2Add broth and peas, cook for 3 minutes.

Step 3Add rice and all seasonings, and cook on low, covered, until rice is cooked entirely, about 25-30 minutes.

Step 4Add Parmesan cheese, and mix thoroughly.
