Ingredients
- 3 cups sushi rice
- 4 cups water
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 8 ounces frozen diced carrots
- 1/2 - sweet onion, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, finely grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- - vegetable oil
- 1 can spam, diced
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 8 ounces frozen peas
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced
How To Make hawaiian style fried rice

Step 1Make rice according to directions.

Step 2Lightly beat eggs with 1 tsp sugar and 2 tsp of soy sauce. I usually cook this like an omelet and then dice it.

Step 3Dice Spam. Brown in a little oil. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Step 4Add carrots, onion, ginger and garlic to the pan, saute until tender and fragrant.

Step 5Add sesame oil and rice to the pan. Mix well.

Step 6Add frozen peas. Mix in and make sure they are completely warmed through.

Step 7Remove from heat.

Step 8Add mirin, rice wine, and soy sauce to the pan. Mix well.

Step 9Add in the Spam, rice mixture and diced egg. Stir to incorporate.

Step 10Add diced green onion. Serve.
