I am somewhat of a fried rice queen. This one is perfect for serving with Hawaiian pulled pork (kalua pig) or something like teriyaki fish or chicken on the barbecue. Or if you are like me, you could eat this all by itself.

  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 1 cup diced red onion

  • 1/3 cup chopped green onion
  • 2 tablespoons hawaiian soy sauce
  • 3 cups cooked brown rice, chilled
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

How To Make hawaiian ham fried rice

  • Step 1
Heat peanut oil in a wok pan and add eggs, swirling around until set, then remove from pan
  • Step 2

  • Step 4
Add the pineapple, tomato, green onion and soy sauce, cooking until most of the liquid dissipates; remove from pan.
  • Step 5
Add the tablespoon each of cooking oil and sesame oil then add the rice to the pan, cooking until most of the steam is gone.
  • Step 6
Stir ham mixture into the rice and serve.
