If you want you can do what I do .. I rinse my rice tell it run clear then I put the rice in a pan and put water in it tell it reaches my 1st knuckle joint..starting at the top of the rice..Cook all the water out of the rice then put a lid on it and turn the burner off and let it steam its self..

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/2 bunch parsley (chopped) rinse and squeeze dry
  • 1 bunch scallions (diced)
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • - salt and pepper

How To Make green rice

  • Step 1
    Rinse rice till water is clear, then add to pan and cook normal.When done set to the side
  • Step 2
    Meantime chopped parsley,place in a towel and rinse till water runs clear. Dice up the Scallions..
  • Step 3
    Melt butter in skillet then add the scallions, cook for just a few min. Then add the rice and mix well add in the parsley..add Salt and Pepper.
