Ingredients
- 1 cup small egg noodles
- 1 cup long cooking rice (not minute rice)
- 2 1/2 cups chicken or beef broth
- 1/2 cup butter
- - salt to taste
How To Make grandmother phillips' rice pilaf

Step 1Brown egg noodles lightly in melted butter.

Step 2Add rice and salt, stirring lightly.

Step 3Heat broth and add to rice mixture. Cook with lid on low heat for 25 min. *Do not remove lid to stir.

Step 4Let stand for five minutes, remove lid, stir, and serve.
