Grandmother Phillips' Rice Pilaf

Buttery and delicious... this is a great side dish or good as a bed for a meat main dish. It also keeps well in the fridge for about two weeks.
Ingredients

1 csmall egg noodles
-
1 clong cooking rice (not minute rice)
-
2 1/2 cchicken or beef broth
-
1/2 cbutter
-
·salt to taste
How to Make Grandmother Phillips' Rice Pilaf
- Brown egg noodles lightly in melted butter.
- Add rice and salt, stirring lightly.
- Heat broth and add to rice mixture. Cook with lid on low heat for 25 min.
*Do not remove lid to stir. - Let stand for five minutes, remove lid, stir, and serve.
