grandma's rice
The name is self explanatory. An old family favorite that combines long grain white rice with white wine and Herb Ox sodium free instant chicken bouillon. Simply delicious.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups uncle ben's long grain white rice
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 large yellow onion, chopped
- 1 cup white wine, i use pinot grigio
- 4 packages herb ox sodium free chicken bouillon
- 2 1/3 cups water
How To Make grandma's rice

Step 1In a large skillet, melt butter. Saute chopped onion until soft, about 5 minutes. Add white rice, and saute until lightly browned.

Step 2Add white wine, Herb ox chicken bouillon, and water. Stir lightly, cover pan, and simmer on low for 25 minutes, or until rice is done. Enjoy!
