Ingredients
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 cup peas, thawed
- 1 cup carrots, shredded
- 3 - eggs
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
How To Make fried rice

Step 1Saute onion in peanut oil until onion is tender.

Step 2Stir in rice, chestnuts, peas and carrots.

Step 3Cook over low heat for 8-10 minutes stirring frequently.

Step 4Stir in beaten eggs, and cook 3 minutes longer stirring occasionally. Stir in soy sauce.

Step 5Cooked cubed pork, beef or lamb can be added for varieties.
