This is an easy and oh so tasty fried rice. This is also a recipe that can easily be tweaked to suit your own taste. I prefer to use fresh bean sprouts, but canned sprouts can be used...just drain and rinse them well.

Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 1/4 cup oil (reserve about 2 tablespoons to cook egg)
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 3 cups diced meat (pork, ham, chicken)
- 1 small package of fresh bean sprouts
- 4 - green onions, chopped fine
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, mashed
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make fried rice

Step 1Cook rice according to package. Fry eggs until firm and then cut into strips.

Step 2Heat remaining oil in fry pan--add meat, bean sprouts, and green onions. Cook 3 to 4 minutes--stirring.

Step 3Add rice, soy sauce mixed with garlic, and salt and pepper. Add eggs. Mix together thoroughly.
