My kids love this. They won't eat rice from a restaurant either! I got this from a quick and healthy cookbook for kids.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups minute rice, brown or white
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 medium carrot, shredded
  • 2 - green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make fast "fried" rice

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients, microwave on high. I do it according to the box directions on my minute rice.
