Ingredients
- - 3 1/2 cups pre-cooked white rice
- - 1 sm - med yellow onion diced
- - 3 celery stalks diced
- - 1 10oz can ro-tel "original" diced tomatoes w/green chilies
- - 1 small can tomato sauce
- - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- - 1 tbs sugar (optional)
- - few shakes garlic powder
- - 1/3 cup water
- - salt/pepper to taste
- - 2 tbs cooking oil
How To Make easy spanish rice

Step 1In frying skillet add oil and brown together onion and celery until soft. Add Ro-tel tomatoes, add all spices, sugar and lemon juice. When tomatoes just begin to bubble, add tomato sauce rinsing can with 1/3 cup of water. When sauce is near boiling , lower heat and add rice and stir until sauce is mix well through out the rice. Salt and pepper to taste or diet.
