This recipe is very easy and is just like the mexican resturant rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 cups long grain rice, uncooked
  • 4 1/2 cups water, hot
  • 3 tablespoons knorrs chicken and tomato bullion
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion
  • SPANISH STYLE RICE

How To Make easy mexican rice

  • Step 1
    Add your 2 Tbsp. canola oil to a saucepan and heat. Once your oil is hot add your 2 cups of Long Gain White rice to hot oil and brown. I usally brown my rice very well. Once rice is browned add your 4 1/2 cups of hot water, use caution for very hot steam. Once you have added your water return to a high flame, add your Knorrs bullion and black pepper. Cover till a rolling boil then turn all the way down to a very low flame and cook. Do not stir just leave lid on and cook on low. Once done I sprinkle chopped green onions on top and stir in.
