Step 1In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add rice and cook until lightly browned. Add water and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer until rice is tender, about 30 minutes. Don't stir while rice is simmering. Wait until the rice is done to stir.
