I have made this simple rice recipe for many, many years. The beauty of the recipe is that you can substitute any broth to change the entire flavor of the dish. I use this cooled dish to make fabulous fried rice.

Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 cup uncooked rice (i prefer jasmine rice)
- 1 can chicken, beef or vegetable broth
How To Make easy baked rice

Step 1Preheat oven to 350*.

Step 2In a large Dutch oven or deep iron skillet, melt butter over meduim heat. Add rice and stir frequently until it begins to change color and lose some transluscency.

Step 3Carefully pour in broth. Cover tightly with lid or foil. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes. Carefully remove lid/foil.
