- 1 teaspoon onion flakes, dehydrated
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups long grain rice
- 1/3 cup dry wild rice
- 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted, optional

Step 1Combine all of the spices in a medium saucepan and mix thoroughly. Add the both types of rice, the chicken stock, water and butter (if using).

Step 2Bring mixture to a boil and stir to combine. Cover saucepan with a lid, turn down heat to a simmer and simmer gently for 10-15 minutes until all the liquid is absorbed.

Step 3NOTE: May be used in any recipe that calls for Uncle Ben's Wild Rice.
