This is a nice rice pilaf to serve with pork. I love apples with pork and the apple cider adds a sweetness to the pilaf.

Ingredients
- 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
- 1 3/4 cups boiling apple cider
How To Make cider rice pilaf

Step 1Saute rice in butter in a large skillet over medium heat until golden.

Step 2Add the celery and the next 4 ingredients, and saute 5 minutes. Stir in 2 tablespoons parsley and rosemary. Stir in boiling apple cider; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

Step 3Sprinkle with the remaining 2 tablespoons parsley. Serve immediately.
