This is better than Rice-a-Roni! I like to use brown rice...it gives it a nuttier, chewier texture. If using brown rice simmer for 40 minutes instead.

How to Make Chicken Herbed Rice

Step-by-Step

  • 1In skillet, melt butter. Add rice and saute until light brown.
  • 2Add water and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes.
