Broccoli likes moisture to grow fast and produce well, so water regularly, applying 1 to 1.5 inches of water per week if rain doesn’t cover it. Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 large bunch fresh broccoli, blanced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup kraft cheez whiz
  • 2 cups cooked, white rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make broccoli-rice & cheese casserole

  • Step 1
    In a deep skillet, melt butter over medium heat. When butter is melted, add onion. Saute until softened. Add chopped broccoli and sautee for a minute or two longer.
  • Step 2
    Add the soup, milk, rice and cheez whiz to vegetable mixture.
  • Step 3
    Pour into a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup grated cheddar. Bake at 350(F) degrees for 15-20 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Serve!
