This is a different but delicious rice side dish- Once you try it you will make it often. Great also with added BBQ chicken or,some scrambled hamburger, or a pork chop or a nice piece of fish. Recipe fro "Kitchen Chatter" recipe cookbook #1 1968.

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup whole kernel corn,drained
- 1 cup heinz sweet chili sauce or tomato ketchup
- 1 cup water
- 6 slices lemon, thin sliced and quartered
- 2 teaspoons ground mustard
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cups instant brown rice
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
How To Make barbecued rice

Step 1Melt butter in a large cast iron skillet. Add uncooked rice and brown, stirring constantly. Add onion, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, chili sauce, mustard, brown sugar,water, lemons and corn. Stir to mix Cover and simmer about 30 minutes or until rice has absorbed most of the liquid.

Step 2This is a great side for BBQ pork, or chicken or fish. Or if you want to add scrambled cook hamburger that tastes great too- that's the way my kids liked it when they were small.
