Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 8 ounces shitake mushrooms
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice
- 32 ounces beef broth
- 1 package au jus gravy mix
- 2 tablespoons minced onion
- - salt and pepper to taste
- - fresh parsley for garnish
How To Make au jus mushroom rice

Step 1Place the butter in a pan and let it melt. Add the mushrooms and rice and cook until golden about 5 minutes.

Step 2Add remaining ingredients except for parsley. Bring to a boil. Reduce to low heat and cover. Let simmer until all liquid is absorbed about 20 minutes.

Step 3Uncover and Remove from heat and let sit 5 minutes. Fluff with fork season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley to serve.
