Au Jus Mushroom Rice

1/4 cbutter

8 ozshitake mushrooms

1 1/2 cuncooked long grain rice

32 ozbeef broth

1 pkgau jus gravy mix

2 Tbspminced onion

·salt and pepper to taste

·fresh parsley for garnish
How to Make Au Jus Mushroom Rice
- Place the butter in a pan and let it melt. Add the mushrooms and rice and cook until golden about 5 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients except for parsley. Bring to a boil. Reduce to low heat and cover. Let simmer until all liquid is absorbed about 20 minutes.
- Uncover and Remove from heat and let sit 5 minutes.
Fluff with fork season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley to serve.
