Whats not to love? I make sweet potatoes for my family all year round. They're not just for Thanksgiving in my house! I hope you enjoy my yummy recipe. If not now, save for Thanksgiving. They're great for potluck too! Have taken to Church and everyone loved them. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 medium and 1 small sweet potato, peeled and sliced, about 3/4 inch thick
- 3/4 - 1 pounds bulk sausage, crumbled and fried - reserve drippings
- 2 - 3 medium peeled and sliced apples, i used granny smith
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tablespoons not level - a little heaping - flour
- 3 - 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- sprinkle - of pecans or walnuts
How To Make ~ yum! sweet potatoes, sausage & apples ~

Step 1In a medium baking dish ( I used an 11 x 7 ) layer potato slices, sausage, apple.

Step 2Mix the flour, water, sugar, cinnamon and salt and pour over the potatoes mixture. Top with pecans and drizzle with sausage drippings, cover and place in a 375 degree oven for 25 minutes. Remove cover and continue baking until potatoes are fork tender. Carefully toss before serving, to coat all with the juices.
